Coventry University Students' Union

The International Disaster Concern Society, or IDC, has a past that is full of myths and legends. Some say it was named after one of its founders, Iain Duncan Challenger, others that it is an ancient remnant of barbaric Viking tribes who left their indellible mark on its infamous intiation night at the beginning of every academic year.

Whatever the truth is behind IDC, there is no doubting that it is one of the very epicentres of Disaster Management life in Coventry and its members past and present make up a veritable who's who of legendary disaster managers to have passed through the gates of Coventry.

The current commitee of the IDC is made up of :Dawn Gibson, James Townsend, Esther Shaylor and Steve Spearman
